No, they do not ask that as part of the survey. They simply ask... are you employed? If you are not, they ask.... are you looking for work? If you answer No to the first and yes to the second, you are included in the unemployment rate that is announced. Whether or not you have run out of unemployment benefits or not is irrelevant.
