Is it ok for a Doctor to stand by and let you bleed to death cause you don't have any cash?
Is ok for a lawyer to permit an innocent person to be condemned cause they can't pay legal fees?
Is it ok for an engineer to build a bridge with substandard materials cause his clients can't afford to build to code?
Is it ok for an accountant to no report bogus financials cause he didn't get paid for the audit?

FUCK NO!

All professions have standards of ethics and behavior that go above and beyond the all mighty dollar and if you don't have the intelligence to figure that one out you don't deserve to ever be called a professional.

That may well be true but it doesn't change the fact that the actions of these Firemen was unprofessional, unethical and unchristian and the public should be outraged by this ethical lapse.

As I said. The ethical and right thing to have done would have been to put the fire out and then charge the family for the full cost of services because they didn't pay their annual fee. To permit their home to burn down is just fucking reprehensible.

I already took into account that he is from Ohio so he is going to be coming from a higher intellectual level which forced me to go back to my undergraduate experience at one of the finest universities in the world. I'll pass the cliff notes version down to you.
