You're missing the point, as usually happens from the left.

Bachmann didn't use her kids as a shield for her agenda. This mom did. That's wrong and you can see the kid clearly is being used because he looks down and speaks real low. He is being forced by his mother. His mother is a coward. Bachmann was right there in front of her and she used her kid as a shield to speak her words and to hide behind.

That is your interpretation. It could also be that he knew Bachmann is someone famous, there were lights & media, security was watching people ect ect, and the kid was shy.

I am not missing the point. Bachmann has had no problem being anti-gay. That makes the news. This kid sees presidential candidates saying demeaning things about his Mom or maintaining that she needs to be "fixed" certainly is a low thing. But somehow you have no problem with that?

Your avoiding the point. An 8-year-old kid doesn't voluntarily walk up to a congressman and tell them their mother is gay and doesn't need fixing. 8-year-old kids are not political. Allow the kid to be a kid.

The mother should have walked up to Bachmann and told her "I'm a gay woman and I don't need fixing". Why can't she do that? Because she needs validation for her lifestyle by forcing her 8-year-old child to validate her lifestyle.
