I'm not really that interested in the controversy. Even if he was born on Mars it wouldn't matter. His strategy was to get to the top rung as fast as he could before anyone could cut the legs out. After he got to the top he simply burned the ladder, and anyone caught on it takes the fall. It worked. He's using the same strategy for his reelection campaign.
