Why wouldn't the homeless be protesting? It's the outrageous policies that has resulted in many being homeless.
There are over 150,000 vacant homes in Nevada just left to rot. There are homes in Cleveland, Ohio that are being bulldozed. People thrown out because they can'pay their mortgage and the banks are having the homes demolished. Why would the banks destroy the homes and lose any possible money they could get for them? Rather than sell a $100,000 home for $25,000 they pay someone to destroy it thereby losing the $25,000 plus the cost of demolition.
Is that the way society is supposed to function?
Reminds me of a person I used to know. They had a garage sale but were not able to sell everything. As we talked they told me they were going to put the stuff in the garbage. I replied it was strange no one made an offer as some of the things were quite good. The person told me some people made an offer but the offer was an insult so they decided to scrap the things rather then let someone else have them.
Needless to say our "relationship" changed after hearing that to the point where we don't keep in touch any more and I knew that person for many years. Well, I suppose I never really knew them. I found their attitude towards others to be nothing short of repulsive.

apple I'd say to the bank issue that it's silly that they're trashing the homes but if they own the homes it really is, their business. Silly and shortsighted but still and nevertheless, their descision.

Which is why more government involvement is necessary. Tax dollars used to bail out banks while they deliberately destroy homes that could be used for the homeless.
