Why did the republicans in the house work so hard to GIVE this power to Obama?

why would they do that?

Because they work for the global bankers, like bernake and corzine and goldman sachs, just like Obama and the rest of them who are about to finalize the police state the hijacked government needs to implement the final stages of the population culling plan the elites have been talking about for half a century or more.

why do you think government scientists are creating air-borne N5H1

Both sides are corrupt. please be more critical of the leaders you accept information and guidance from. Neither side is trustworthy. They all voted for unconstitutional laws. We are justified in revolt. They put it on paper. Please wake up from the left/right trance. Both parties are working towards the same goal for the same masters

So when your team has used yet more gamemanship of our system to harm obama no matter what the cost is to Americans you see it as a mutual attempt?

Your party put this into the bill.

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
APRIL 14, 2011
Mr. MCKEON (for himself and Mr. SMITH of Washington) (both by request)
introduced the following bill
; which was referred to the Committee on
Armed Services.

So you claim the cosponser wrote the Bill?

so you claim only republicans wanted this bill? why did a dem "by request" introduce the bill? and co sponsor is essentially co-author.

So you claim the republican house wanted to co operate with Obama?

la la la la la la la.

desh, your fingers have a ton of ear wax on them

WHY DID OBAMA DEMAND THAT LANGUAGE SPECIFICALLY EXEMPTING AMERICAN CITIZENS FROM INDEFINITE DETAINMENT BE REMOVED FROM THE BILL OR HE WOULD VETO IT????????

you're spinning out of control. i never said they are responsible for what pubs do, i said BOTH dems and pubs supported this bill. more pubs than dems and in the senate, your precious democratic senator levine was a HUGE proponent of it. but you want to dishonestly claim only the pubs are responsible.

that is pure partisan hackery. wake up.

The Authorization for Use of Military Force [1] is a joint resolution passed by the United States Congress on September 14, 2001, authorizing the use of United States Armed Forces against those responsible for the attacks on September 11, 2001. The authorization granted the President the authority to use all "necessary and appropriate force" against those whom he determined "planned, authorized, committed or aided" the September 11th attacks, or who harbored said persons or groups. The AUMF was signed by President George W. Bush on September 18, 2001.

The AUMF was unsuccessfully cited by the George W. Bush administration in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld, in which the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the administration's military commissions at Guantanamo Bay were not competent tribunals as constituted and thus illegal.

You people defended this when Bush did it.

Now you try and use it against Obama for poltical reasons
