Cliffs: Conservatives bummed that they won't likely get someone more right-leaning, Liberals are bummed because Romney is the Republicans best chance at beating obama (being tied or even ahead in some polls), journalists are bummed because there is no underdog narrative. At the end of the day, Romney will win the nomination because he is simply the most electable.

sadly yurt, there are many dumblings here, and it isn't much of a stretch for people to assume I am a new poster, in spite of my 13k posts.

I wonder what would happen with a Romney/Paul ticket O_o

Paul, as old as he is, captures a lot of the youth vote, was polling 48% of the "conservative independents" in iowa, and may also do well with some of the tea partiers.

I don't think it would happen, he'd probably turn it down even if it were offered, but it's interesting to mull over.

Huntsman comes off as a major pussy... something about his demeanor. Though with his experience in the embassy in china, secretary of state anyone? O_o

I don't think newt/perry/santorum would get any offers
