Changes Coming to America

I have well over 2000 books in my collection. And that's just the books here. I have a bunch in storage as well for when I have more shelving...

That being said, I'm thinking of getting a nook or a kindle... Why not? Just another way for people to give me books.

:D
I hadn't thought of that! :)

Ill admit I don't have much in the way of literature. Most of my office is filled with technical manuals, black smithing books, etc. I love reading them though.
I know what you mean. Though to be honest it's far easier to use reference text and technical manuals in electronic format then it is from a book.

A close friend of mine who is an Engineer has the neatest book collection I've ever seen. Back in the early 80's he bought a 500 volume library of leather bound books printed on acid free paper for a few thousand dollars. There all classics too. Huck Finn. Les Miserable. War and Peace, etc, etc.

Most likely a combination of both. People have to be free but they also have to treat others equally.

One example. A One World Government could ensure sufficient fuel is distributed so that food would not have to be used as a fuel. Then there would be more food available.

I'm sure you can think of other examples where a united world, combining and using resources efficiently, would greatly benefit mankind.

A major problem stopping progress is political uncertainty. A One World Government could eliminate that problem and mankind could bound ahead.

Why are you a stooge?

I'm currently building the Mrs a book case for her cook books.

Question to Damo. Is there any way to post a picture of it on here when I'm done?

Upload the image to your album here. It will even give you links under the image to use to post it.

Of course. Just like society operates today. We have laws we have to obey which prevents one from interferring in the freedom of others.

Elections. It could operate like democratic governments.

An enemy of liberty is no friend of mine. I do not owe respect to anyone who would enslave me by government force, nor is it wise for such a person to expect it. -- Isaiah Amberay

YOU, are an enemy of liberty.
