It's very important to remember that Imus was at MSNBC and they had corporate sponsors which were open to pressure. And they were pressured. Imus was not fired right away, he was only fired after his corporate sponsors decided he was too big a liability. That's the free market.

This guy, I never heard of him, but if he has corporate sponsors I would definitely encourage anyone upset by it, like Yurt and others, to find out who they are and write to them. You can make a difference. Just look what women did this week with Komen! Oh yeah!

Then give me one thread out of the multitude you've posted that aren't about white people being in some way "hatin on da black man". And then find one post, that you actually said something nice about a white person.

The irony of course being that when you're racist against blacks you hate 12% of the US population, but when you hate whites you're a dick to 70%+ of the US population.

What? That doesn't even make any sense. Please find a post or thread where the topic is "white people hatin' on da black man". I don't even talk like that. I point out the racism and bigotry exhibited by whites, in general, and in this forum. Unless, of course, you're in denial that whites actually do "hate on blacks" and not only discriminate against them but lie and portray them in negative stereotypes. And that their current piñata is "President Obama" and his family.

Uh, duh. I have numerous white "liberal" friends, in this very forum and hundreds on facebook. I belong to a readers group that is 95 % white.
