More like logic. Prohibition didn't work in the 1920s or 1930s, the idea that it will work "this time" is a joke. We put people in prison to learn how to become real criminals and drive our own society into the mud. What a waste of treasure and lives. Any fiscal conservative who understands that it took a constitutional amendment to prohibit alcohol can understand the you have a right to make stupid decisions without going to prison for them... That's literally what Liberty means.

Well I agree with his conclusion about decriminalizing pot. I don't know if I agree with his rational.
It really depends on what you call "liberal"... There is a difference between libertine and liberal. Anyway, Pat Robertson still believes that abortion is sin, for instance. Do you think he's "liberal"?

I watched my father go from wanting the death penalty for ALL drug dealers (like in China, no trial, just one bullet to the back of the head) to openly dissing BushII, during his FIRST term. By the end of BushII's second term, the old man was in a rage. (but then, unlike Bravo, he was educated)
And as I said, it really depends on what you call "liberal". I believe you are mixing libertine with liberal. He has taken a more libertine position than you would expect on marijuana, he has not, however, become "liberal"...
You're right about that......the labels liberal and conservative have little meaning in reality and what the issues are.....but we're kinda stuck with them....
Reminds me of the time not so long ago that the blue states were conservative and the red states liberal until one of networks decided to switch them for "some" reason.
