my generalization only applies to grouping liberals and conservatives as pro big government authoritarian police staters. so don't feel bad by being lumped in with that group, it applies to almost all of you.

What I find most annoying about the entire situation, besides Rush caling a woman a slut, is the cry that the gov't is somehow forcing religious organizations to compromise their beliefs.

Has anyone forced anyone to use contraceptives? The insurance plans that these religious organizations use are not religious organizations. They are simply insurance companies. That contraceptives are included in basic insurance plans is not a violation of the religious organization's rights.

The money that they pay their employees is taxed. And those taxes fund murder. Why are they not making a fuss about the wars?
