Do you seriously want to make this argument?

As Obama's record clearly demonstrates, he would have led this country quite differently after 9/11 than President Bush did.

For one thing, it's extremely unlikely that a then-President Obama would have started the Iraq war.

For another, it's extremely likely that a then-President Obama would have conducted a campaign in Afghanistan that was far more effective and results-driven than the leaderless bumbling-about that President Bush substituted for an Afghanistan policy.

The bottom line is that one war would never have been fought and the other would have ended years ago. Which means this shooting and numerous other atrocities like it would never have happened in the first place.

Do you seriously want to compare the foreign policies of these two Presidents? Seriously?

i'm not comparing the foreign policies of two presidents. I'm comparing the hypocritical reactions of liberals based on issues occuring during the two presidencies.

Fighting two protracted wars, one of which was wholly unnecessary, is what has put our military personnel into the multiple deployment scenarios where sometimes their mental stability gives way and these atrocities occur. One president is clearly more responsible for this situation than is the other. I see no hypocrisy whatsoever in acknowledging this reality.
