cancel2 2022

Canceled
I was watching this documentary by Niall Ferguson on Channel 4 about China, it is one of a series about that country. There is a link here to it but there may be a country specific block on it. Please let me know if that's true.

Can't watch it here ?....where is "here".....if you're watching the series....

American censorship where ?......wtf are you talking about.

Ferguson's works are available on Amazon for a few bucks.....perhaps their not good enough for US TV.....

The block will be by Channel 4, obviously they want to sell it worldwide.

Yes you are probably right. Poor Bravo (below) doesn't really understand much of the world, does he? One must be generous of spirit when dealing with life's unfortunates.

Here is in Hong Kong, can you see the video?

Can't view it in the US.....

And I don't know why that ass lowaique would imagine "here" tells anyone the location......

So he can't watch it in Hong Kong and he's blaming American censorship ?.......

Seems he can't construct a coherent sentence that actually conveys some information.

It says "the uploader has not made this video available in your country"

So yet another hysterical fit of jealousy from LowIq has been debunked. His hatred for the US and jealousy of the US consumes him.

LMAO... yet you are the one running around crying and whining about US censorship. Maybe when you get a better grasp on what goes on in the world, then you can mock others for their lack of understanding. My guess is that won't happen until you pull your head out of your ass.

There is an ironic quality to much of what Low says, he derives infinite amusement out of bamboozling people like you. Also bear in mind that he was speaking to me and I do understand where here is.

It's a shame really as it is incredibly insightful about Chinese attitudes to the West. In one part he went to Africa to see a copper mine run by the Chinese, almost all the African workers interviewed said the the Chinese were very bad employers and treated them like shit. In another part, he was talking to Chinese hackers whose sole existence is to break into Western systems and get secrets both industrial and military. They spoke openly without any attempt to disguise themselves.
Do you have a proxy that you could use?

If he intends to speak "to YOU", then he needs to use a PM.....otherwise there are hundreds of readers that are "bamboozled" by posts that make no sense to
the rest of the board.....

Are you speaking of your posts on this forum?

What is this, playing the devil's advocate or something? Well, I guess it's not like you need to think about your credibility or anything.

No... but I would certainly be interested in seeing it.

Absolutely incredible that mentally challenged people of normally sane appearance are permitted to roam free in the US. You are right. I was replying to you and knew that it was not necessary to adopt Dr Seuss vocab.
To clarify, for those asleep at the back, or in Bravo's case, on watch, I was not able to watch the video you posted BUT we, and thousands of other expats, use a download site for much of our TV viewing pleasure. I would be pleased to give the name if Damo gives his permission.
We are flying to Europe tomorrow for sevearial weeks and have loaded laptops, iPods and memory sticks with several gigabytes of radio and TV for the journey. We used to choose a good book for the hols, now we have three Dickens plays and a Wilde plus the second China Triumph and Turmoil, She Wolves, The Big Questions and loads more.
Loathe to have any contact while away I was not going to take a computer until the company for whom I write crap insisted on giving me one as a pressy just so long as they could keep in touch. Since I enjoy what I do for them it is no hardship and I get to keep the machine!
