Weeks of defaming, and calling for Zimmermans head on a platter for defending himself, but not one comment about this obvious hate crime.

"Zimmermans" should have an apostrophe between the "n" and the "s."

What attacks? Surely, you would be outraged about a lack of apostrophe if a black guy were responding to a white guy.

Not sure it's a hate crime, just as easily could have been a latino, asian or indian(subcontinent) that was attacked. Though I agree that the lack of publicity and the fact that it's being ignored by everyone is disturbing, just check out the Adkins murder, which is almost an inverse of the Trayvon case, and nothing is being said, at all.
 
Hate crime...probably not. But I do have a question. How many here think it would have been a crime if this fellow drew iron and shot his attackers?

It's the same old story. Periods (.) get all the respect. Even commas (,) are vigorously defended but when it comes to apostrophes (') people just let them slip by. On numerous occasions I've seen the contraction of "we are" written as "were" instead of the proper "we're".

It's encouraging to see someone stand up for the lonely apostrophe. :good4u:
