Just because he didn't climb up from poverty doesn't mean they had household staff helping them. Liberals have trotted out the number of staff at his house in 2010 as if that proves the Romneys had maids when the kids were young.

You just again stated that there is a difference between no nanny and no help whatsoever. You are again implying that they had help of any sort. You do not know that. You just continue to assume it.

you also make the false assumption that people who have never struggled financially cannot empathize with those who have. That is also a false assumption. I have not experienced the loss of a parent, yet I can most certainly empathize with my friends that have. You and many others are pretending that the only way someone can relate to someone else is if their situations are identical/very similar. That is nonsense.

1) I work with multi millionaires who drive the same vehicles they bought 10 years ago, who have multiple homes, who worked hard for what they have and who do take care of their own homes without help. It is a work ethic that they developed that got them where they are today. You want to belittle people like that because you have the same deep seeded envy that many others have shown on this board. You makes assumption and presume you 'know'... you do not.

2) When Romney's kids were young, they were not multimillionaires. You assume, like many other liberals, that because they have lots of stuff now that means they always have. Mitt did not come out of college and start making millions.

3) It is quite funny how so many liberals proclaim that Ann Romney cannot possibly relate with 'average women' because she has never struggled financially. Yet all of you same liberals are sure you 'know' exactly how Ann Romney has lived her life and you 'know' that she always had people do everything for her.

You are aware that the Romney's didn't just magically come by the money they have today? You are aware that the fortune was built over Mitt's career? That most of it came after his kids were grown up?

I am making no presumptions about what Ann Romney does TODAY. You idiots seem to think that if they have it now they always have had it. Serious class envy on your part.

We are discussing the unjustified assumption by liberals that Ann Romney had ooodles of help when her kids were young. That she can't possibly relate to other stay at home moms.

Dear Desh, I have stated multiple times that the bulk of their money was made in the mid to late 80's and beyond. That very statement shows they have had money for a long time. The point Desh is that their kids have also been grown and out of the house for a very long time. The youngest is 30/31.
