you do not have a right to just say anything you want and expect no one to stop buying your product or service. you are delusional as always. boycotts are not intimidation, anymore than not voting for the next candidate because of X. if you are selling something to public and make a comment the public doesn't like, you don't have a right to expect the public to continue purchasing your product, nor do you have a right to expect the public to speak out against purchasing your product or service.
your logic is asinine. let us take your logic to it's logical conclusion:
person A doesn't want to vote for person B because of comments B made. A encourages others not to vote for B. B might not get elected, thus, his livelihood will be threatened. onceler wants us to not disparage B because his or her livelihood is threatened.
if you truly believe in the marketplace of ideas, you would not claim boycotts are a threat. i don't agree with most boycotts, but they are not a threat, they are form of speech that is protected under our constitution.
