is it even possible for you stay on track and not derail a thread with your petty sniping? i already gave you my reason why you forgave him and i've seen many others forgive him...it has come out numerous times on this board. i have not seen on single dem not downplay the fact byrd was a KKK member. they all claim it was a long time ago, times were different and he has since left and apologized.

romney does the same thing and now liberals won't accept it and won't move on. that is classic double standard.

Um... yes, I understand they made that tiny correction, but they also stated they would be releasing a statement later. I agree that if the above was the only inaccuracy that they saw with the story, then it is inconsequential.

I don't know, I've never seen WAPO accused of that, so if there's evidence they did this, I'll wait for it. They'll have to come out and own up to it. These days it's incredibly rare for someone not to have an original screenshot of this though...

As for the other matter, as of now that's the only "inaccuracy" the sister claimed. It's stupid.

Hey, idiot - you were the one that interrupted a conversation about Romney with "you Dems forgave Byrd," and then went on to say that I personally forgave Byrd and had no problem with his KKK past. With nothing to back it up, I might add.

1) I posted a screen shot of the WaPost site

2) As I said, if that is the only inaccuracy then I agree, it is inconsequential. I made the assumption that the statement they said they are releasing would have further ones. That could turn out to be a poor assumption. We shall see.

yes you are. i merely pointed out two people who had done things that were not good in the past and contrasted that with how dems treated byrd with how dems are treating romney. you are one of them. you have never displayed the outrage over byrd that you have for romney.
