Byrd has everything to do with everything, everywhere. No conservative can ever be criticized, in any way, because some liberals accepted Byrd.

I don't think every liberal did anyway. I never did until his amazing and very brave Iraq war speech. There's a little something about redemption and forgiveness that yurt and mini-yurt don't seem to grasp; you have to do something to demonstrate you deserve it.

oh for crying out loud. how fucking obtuse can you be? I realize this is an election year, but do you realize how STUPID both sides look by criticizing the actions of someone in the past and and dismissing the apology for their actions or blindly accepting the apology and believing said individual is truly sorry for their past based on the letter of their political party?

I don't think it's stupid. As some have said, if Mitt was the school bully, combined with the idea that he likes firing people, combined with other stories from adulthood - it could represent a pattern, and a kind of personality that a lot of people aren't comfortable with.

At what age do you start taking people's actions & words into consideration? If the haircutting incident was a one-off, I don't think it's that big of a deal. If it was a pattern of behavior for Mittney in HS, college & adulthood - it's kind of a big deal.

Beyond that, his claim that he doesn't remember isn't credible to me. That is more incriminating than the actual incident, imo.

I agree and the irony is, Byrd did something all religions want their members to do which is to apologize and repent for bad behavior. And many cons go to the bible when they're trying to make a point. So even though Byrd had his come to Jesus moment, cons will completely discount it and continue spouting about the past.

The fact that dogs ride in the beds of pick ups all the time, love to stick their heads out the window etc... would suggest you are reaching a bit so as to demonize Romney.

what you DO, if you have any fucking integrity, is hold them all accountable or forgive them all as they apologize. any other course of action is just being a hacktastic partisan.

I just hate those apologies that start out "... if I did stupid things, etc." ,and it doesn't matter who says it or what letter is beside the name. It sounds so arrogant, like the person's thinking "whatever I have to do to placate these idiots."
