Cool story, if true.

Really? OH let's see here....

When I want to get in to see my GP I have to schedule out about 2 months. My wife needed a normal procedure and her doctor doesn't have any availability to do it for 8 months.

I have spent hours on the phone arguing with my insurance provider as to why they won't cover what they said they would cover. I've just gotten done spending a couple months fighting with my benefits manager to make sure they would allow me to have insurance as we moved from my wife's employer over to my employer.

And I'm impressed at how easily you can just blow off spending 2X as much for healthcare when life expectancy is actually LOWER than many countries with single payer.

It is almost as if FACTS DON'T MATTER TO YOU GUYS.
So, I can't help it that your coverage sucks, and you have a shitty insurance company to deal with.

I think life expectancy has far more to do with factors beyond a nation's healthcare system than with it.

Thumbs up for the NYPD. They have caught their man. He was arrested in a Pa McDonald's A McDonald's employee recognized him and called the cops.

1. Had a Ghost Gun printed on 3D printer.
2. Had the fake New Jersey ID he used in the NY youth Hostile
3.Had a manifesto
4. Had a passport and multiple fake IDs
5. Had a mask like the killer wore
White, young, single male, using MAGA logic, he’s a Trump voter and MAGA enthusiast

Jan. 6th, Charlottesville, doctors that perform abortions ... your stupidity is showing.

I'm starting to figure out the MAGA crowd. Basically here's what I'm starting to understand:

1. Marital infidelity is absolute OK now (even with the Religious Right)
2. Murder is OK if it is committed by a Right Winger, other people are bad when they commit murder
3. Two or three antifa folks who might have punched or pushed a MAGA person is equivalent to 1000 people run over in cars driven by MAGA folks
4. Women are not fully human (they are broodsows and/or whores)
5. Elementary schools have enough money for sex reassignment surgery operating amphitheaters but not enough for construction paper and crayons
6. The only solution to problems with too many guns is MORE GUNS
7. Corporations COMMONLY foot the bill themselves for tariffs and don't pass the cost along to the consumer (goodness of their hearts)
8. Being a Patriot means you try to overthrow a free and fair election and your alliegance is to Vladimir Putin and Recep Erdogan

Looks like a "you" problem.

Healthcare is not a Right. Neither is an education for that matter. Rights are inalienable and available to the maximum degree possible. Rights do not have a price tag attached requiring spending. If you had a Right to a high school diploma for example you might as well print them on toilet paper and put them in every public restroom since you are entitled by it, being a Right, to one whenever you want it, no strings attached.

I don't care what some government bureaucracy says about what Obamacare is supposed to do, what it does do is add a layer of government bureaucracy to the process of purchasing individual health insurance plans and raise the cost of those plans significantly. It has not lowered the cost of health insurance at all but rather has shifted the cost from individuals to taxpayers as a whole. That is, it in the end, fucks everybody.
Here's a repub ex-pol grifter who was too high and mighty for Obamacare. Now he has a GoFundMe for his serious medical problems. Maybe you should donate.

Friends and loved ones of a former U.S. Representative who voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act are now raising funds to pay for his medical bills after he fell off of a horse during a polo tournament. Former Republican Rep. Michael Grimm was paralyzed from the chest down after being thrown from his steed whilst participating in a polo tournament in September. The 54-year-old, who has been playing polo for years, is currently being treated at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation...

In 2012, while representing a large area of Staten Island, Grimm voted alongside the Republican majority in the House of Representatives to repeal the Affordable Care Act, dubbed "Obamacare".

"I have consistently opposed the health care law because of its economy-crushing taxes and steep price tag, which harm our businesses and do little to address the core issue facing our healthcare system - increasing costs," the congressman said in a statement shortly following the vote.

"This law hurts our seniors with steep cuts to Medicare, does nothing to create jobs, and jeopardizes the care that many of New York's families and individuals rely on," he continued."
