1 Out Of Every 509 Americans Has Died Of COVID

Took MAbs, over in 5 days, never missed a day of work.

From Aug, 2021...................

Wait. So you went to work even knowing that you tested positive? Did your coworkers (if any) know? I hope to god you work in a barn with farm animals, and not around other humans.

I hope not, that would be very irresponsible. Her co workers may not have her super immunity, unless she’s been dosing them with her vitamin regime.

I work from home for the umpteenth time :palm: I even said that I planned to remain on my property for the full 2 week recovery period. :palm:

So sorry, bimbo, I don't read all of your dreck; it's too painful.

I'm pleased to see that for once you did the right thing.

According to her, she works from home. Hmm, that might explain why it's taken her so long to get caught up to the rest of FL in the OMGIGotTheCooties dept. Turns out that it wasn't the SuperBestestEver immune system after all... it was lack of exposure.

MBas have been around for the last 20 or 30 years as treatments for many immunosuppressed people to target specific antigens with success.
The 2 combined MAbs in this one have been working fine for vaxxed and unvaxxed alike. Take it early to avoid the hospital.
With any disease the goals are always to try to prevent and treat. Do it all if you like.

You are not supposed to take it unless you test positive

Should you get the covid-19 vaccine if you have been treated with monoclonal antibodies?
If you were treated for COVID-19 with monoclonal antibodies or convalescent plasma, you should wait 90 days before getting a COVID-19 vaccine.

Frequently Asked Questions about COVID-19 Vaccination

this is the main treatment here and everyone I know that has gotten this treatment went home with very few symptoms, one in our neighborhood was out walking the next day

Hello Phantasmal,

Monoclonal antibody treatment, even if around for many years, is still experimental for COViD. These people crack me up!

The FDA authorized it, but only for cases where there is a high risk of progressing to severe COVID. An individual with a strong immune system who has not progressed beyond mild symptoms would not be an authorized usage.

FDA authorizes REGEN-COV monoclonal antibody therapy for post-exposure prophylaxis (prevention) for COVID-19

Prophylaxis with REGEN-COV is not a substitute for vaccination against COVID-19

"The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today revised the emergency use authorization (EUA) for REGEN-COV (casirivimab and imdevimab, administered together) authorizing REGEN-COV for emergency use as post-exposure prophylaxis (prevention) for COVID-19 in adults and pediatric individuals (12 years of age and older weighing at least 40 kg) who are at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death. REGEN-COV is not authorized for pre-exposure prophylaxis to prevent COVID-19 before being exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus -- only after exposure to the virus. Health care providers should review the Fact Sheet for detailed information about the use of REGEN-COV for post-exposure prophylaxis.

REGEN-COV also remains authorized for the treatment of mild-to-moderate COVID-19 in adults and pediatric patients (12 years of age and older weighing at least 40 kg) with positive results of direct SARS-CoV-2 viral testing, and who are at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death.

Prophylaxis with REGEN-COV is not a substitute for vaccination against COVID-19. FDA has authorized three vaccines to prevent COVID-19 and serious clinical outcomes caused by COVID-19, including hospitalization and death. FDA urges you to get vaccinated, if you are eligible. Learn more about FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccines.

REGEN-COV may only be used as post-exposure prophylaxis for adults and pediatric individuals (12 years of age and older weighing at least 40 kg) who are:

at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death, and
not fully vaccinated or who are not expected to mount an adequate immune response to complete SARS-CoV-2 vaccination (for example, people with immunocompromising conditions, including those taking immunosuppressive medications), and
have been exposed to an individual infected with SARS-CoV-2 consistent with close contact criteria per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or
who are at high risk of exposure to an individual infected with SARS-CoV-2 because of occurrence of SARS-CoV-2 infection in other individuals in the same institutional setting (for example, nursing homes or prisons)"

It’s works from what I’ve read

It saved trumps life
It does work, but it’s considered experimental for COVID. The vaccine works and it’s fully approved by FDA and the other two are being reviewed, but have emergency use approval, like the monoclonal therapies.
