Gaza is supposed to be a concentration camp on the brink of starvation. If that's the case, they have a surprising amount of time and resources for arts and crafts, theatrics and cool editing.
Last week, leading up to the "March of return" Hamas carried out a large exercise where they demonstrated their intentions, namely, infiltration into Israel by tunnels as well as by sea and abducting IDF soldiers. They also practiced they type of CQB battles they experienced in 2014 (where the IDF rolled over Gaza within 48 hours).
The maneuver included ninjas, lasers, MANPADS, lots of face paint, and even an (almost) full scale model of a Merkava 4 tank and a Namer IFV, both done in beautiful detail.. Interesting to note that among the multiple uniforms they wear, you'll also find IDF uniforms, cloned down to the distinctive oversize helmet cover.
Several recent events have left the Hamas government extremely isolated and my personal opinion is that they're trying to drag Israel into Gaza to relieve pressure. This has been their tactic for over a decade.
