10 symptoms of woke mind virus

The WOKE CULT does none of that.

Do you think I am woke?

I read books.
I read books about science.
I change my mind when confronted with information that contradicts my previous opinions.
No issues are pure black or white.
and so on...

Seriously?

Let me sum it up, being Woke just means you are not a TRUMPTARDED IDIOT LIKE YOU!

A division put in place by TRUMPTARDS- not everybody else! The only time I ever hear the word is when some TRUMPTARDED IDIOT uses it.

A Black Person used the word as an Idiom once, and you TRUMPTARDED HATEFUL Idiots use the idiom to alienate and isolate yourselves from the melting pot!

"Melting pot"???????????????? That term disappeared in the days when multiculturalism was all the rage and started this fucking insanity. You just might get cancelled dipshit

Multi-culturalism is always difficult, but when you occupy the lands of indigenous people and then bring yet another group of people here in slave ships, then you're stuck with self-inflicted multi-culturalism and have to find a way
to make it work.

Celebrating diversity hasn't worked, even a little.

We should instead follow the example of diverse cultures where ethnicity is simply ignored and a color-blind approach is taken.

Neither conservatives nor liberals in America are down with that, so we'll remain a war zone for the remainder of the republic's existence.

Is this sacastic?

"We should instead follow the example of diverse cultures where ethnicity is simply ignored and an color-blind approach is taken"?

Then you and I can agree on this exact point. I have been lambasted by leftists for suggesting we take a color blind approach.

Yes. We agree on very little, but we do agree on that.
I differ from most Democrats on that particular issue.

That's a pretty significant difference. Do you see any limits to it? Do you oppose affirmative action?
The civil rights act was passed in 1964, nearly sixty years ago.
If affirmative action was justifiable after decades of Jim Crow, it's a much harder case to make now,

Make no mistake. I'm a liberal and I believe in a lot more socialism than you do.
In terms of race, however, I think that non-recognition of it in terms of the law is the only way to tamp down racial animosity now.
The racial problems in Boston, back in the early seventies, was completely about destroying the neighborhood school system.
Racial animosity was an aftereffect of that, not at the core at all..

So long as legacy placements exists, then affirmative action is justified. Mind you, it's roll out had some serious flaws (and some still exists to a degree) ... but as the old saying goes, "what's good for the goose is good for the gander".

As the lady once said, "...And so it goes."

Legacy placements are not the same as AA at all. I don't agree with nifty on anything but on this matter nifty is spot on.

Legacy placement exists in private schools which can essentially do what they want.

Legacy placement in private commerce is admittedly different than education since civilized nations submit commerce to cultural requirements.
Even here, though, people complain about cultural bias in the measurements used, but that's the culture in which we're operating.

Again, it is what it is. If we wish to have different standards, we must logically have segregated cultures to maintain them.
Is anybody on the left clamoring for that?

For your edification on the subject:

Also, "segregated cultures"? What's stopping you from practicing whatever constitutes your "culture"? Mind you, as a SOCIETY, you cannot have total impunity regarding how your "culture" affects others. Americans battle with this all the time (ex.; culture wars regarding the Christmas Holidays). If we all deal with this honestly and rationally, we'll muddle through.
