10 YEAR PRISON SENTENCE FOR UK PEOPLE-COVID TRAVEL

The UK Government has just announced that with immediate effect any person who wrongfully (lies) filling out their Travel Locater Form having travelled from one of the 33 countries on the "RED ZONE LIST" will face a 10 year sentence in prison.
This law was passed via the Corona Virus Bill and did not pass through te normal democratic procedure of parliament. (Statutory Instrument)
The Labour Party Opposition wanted more severe controls.
Meanwhile: Illegal immigrants enter UK every week and are housed in 4 star Hotels by the hundreds. YES > 4 STAR HOTELS < no recourse to courts or punitive controlling.
Britain is now a fascist country. Police are battering citizens (subjects) every week under Covid control policies (Stasi - Nazi style)
A 92 year old man was dragged away by uniformed police for standing outside a London Court awaiting the Julian Le-Sange case. He was no threat. He was literally hauled away.
Police are battering people for peaceful breaches of covid rules.
Old Mussolini would be very proud of our government in UK.

And they feel no shame either these bureaucrats who whenever faced with citizens not doing as commanded from on high say "GET A BIGGER HAMMER, THESE FUCKERS NEED TO BE HURT! (paraphrase)".

I agree. Rapist and abusers of children get less time in prison in UK. I regard a cop breaching his/her Oath as far more serious than lying on a form. I am not saying it is OK to lie on a form.

One of the many problems with law now is that those who run the justice system make little effort to create reasonable rational penalties.

In America however the biggest problem is that we are not all treated equally by the law....power goes and collects the ones it wants to collect.

I have no comment on what the UK considers reasonable measures to discourage covid safety violations.
I personally have no sympathy for those who refuse to cooperate with safety measures.

It's true, however, that liberal democracy is under siege globally as fascism makes its move once again.
In America, we have 74,000,000 diseased trumpanzees slithering around among the decent humans.
I haven't been to the UK in a few years now, and who knows when international travel will come back to speed?
But I understand that nobody is without problems these days.

10 years imprisonment is the same maximum sentence that the UK prescribes for child molesters, isn't it?

I didn't realize a life sentence, which is the maximum for rape, is always less than 10 years in the UK, which is the maximum under the law you are complaining about.

But don't let me stop you from letting your stupidity get in the way of a good rant.
