That would probably be somewhat correct, but a little misleading.
It really does not make sense to talk about skin color, but they were mostly very dark skinned, but not quite Black. It would be doubtful that any of the original population had blue eyes as shown in the picture.
More sense is to talk about Sub-Saharan African, which the original Egyptians were definitely not. They were Northern African/Middle Eastern. They were definitely not European, but were descendent from the one small group that left Sub-Sahara Africa, like the Europeans, Chinese, Australians, Native Americans, etc.
But add into that that Egypt was conquered several times, with other groups also moving in. One of the other groups was the Nubians, who definitely were of Sub-Saharan African ancestry. They clearly mixed with the Egyptians, so depending on the time period, there would be some Sub-Saharan African ancestry.
Another group that conquered and immigrated to Egypt was the Greeks, who were definitely European. That added European ancestry into the mix of later Egypt. After Alexander the Great, there could actually be blue eyed Egyptians.
