Not only are we giving them more privileges than citizens get, we're providing food, clothing, financial assistance, and much more out of pocket...it's hard enough to do that with our own community for thos who are struggling...we don't need to add significantly to the number of people in need...and those numbers are rising every month... There are over 300 clients at just one small resource center in this city...

I get that...I've always been an optimist...Being optimistic has a huge positive impact on our kids...so it's pretty much second nature now...I often mention patience and tolerance...there's a long list of traits important if you're going to be a good educator...I try to make sure I'm checking them off on a regular basis...Even though I'm technically retired, teachers really never do...;)
Hey, I have to prove that I deserve that "crappy pension" (or so they say so often here) that I get every month... (it's nice that someday my daughter will get half of that crap...for life...;)
