Let's go, gunlovers....defend the indefensible...blame the authorities because two idiots failed to exercise firearm safety and shot 2 children.
 
yeah, i said it. i said it in repsonse to rana's bullshit "Is this a good idea to allow hunting so close to a school yard?"

apparently the government thought so, so blame the government.

When I add context (your question about hunting near schools) it tends to change a bit how the post is interpreted. He was answering you in language you would understand. I see it saying, "If the government is responsible for your livelihood, it must also be responsible for your actions."

I get this interpretation specifically because of "nanny staters" remark added...
 
Reality: These guys should never have been hunting there. If they were intelligent capable hunters they wouldn't be.

Either somebody was hunting where they shouldn't (whether you blame the government for allowing it or the hunters for not ensuring the safety of others), or these kids were specifically targeted by an attacker.
