Just wondering what the response would be to this headline and article:

Two white men entered a Starbucks and asked to use the restrooms, but were told that the restrooms are for paying customers. When the two white guys sat down, they were asked if they were going to purchase anything, to which they said no. The Manager asked these white guys several times to leave, but they refused. The Manager called the Police. When the Police arrived and asked them to leave several times, they still refused. The Police began to apply handcuffs. The Police then arrested them for trespassing.

They were black men.. and they were waiting for a friend... The CEO of Starbucks has apologised and the police refused to press charges.

No, the hypothetical article that this thread is about is clearly about two white men. The hypothetical article in post #1 said nothing about a friend.

Your hypothetical article is garbage.. Two black men were waiting on a friend and the CEO of Starbucks has apologized.

Do you think you are clever, you dimwit?

They weren't trespassing and they weren't charged.

Trying to get you to discuss the hypothetical article in post #1 is like trying to shove a cat into a bathtub. You will continue to divert to the article about blacks, since you cannot process the implications of the hypothetical article that this thread is about. The hypothetical article in post #1 caused you to short circuit.

 :rofl2:

I see you need to resort to the lame and concocted “would be” horseshit.

Run along, sonny. You failed before you got out of the gate.

It isn't up to the "victim" to decide whether or not to "press charges." It isn't up to the cops either. It's up to the prosecutors. But the point is taken that if the "victim" doesn't want to pursue a prosecution, his, her or their "request" will probably be honored.

The police don't press charges, unless you assault a cop. And who asks to use the restroom in a restaurant?

Apparently there was no point to this topic at all.
