I just remembered another one!!!
"How do you know when an ambulance is coming while you're driving?"
"How do you know when an ambulance is coming while you're driving?"
Legion is an atheist. He'll post whatever it takes to get a rise out of someone. It's what trolls do. Don't fall for it.
Hmm, yet I don't think verbal discrimination is such a big deal.
It's freedom of speech.
Until you are the victim of verbal discrimination every day for so long that you harm yourself or end your life or shoot up a movie theater. Freedom of speech is a legal defense. It does not give people the moral authority to act like fuckheads.

"How do you know when an ambulance is coming while you're driving?"
Sounds similar to the amount of prejudices I've experienced in the past year.
I'm half Polish & half Irish.
A couple of months ago an Irish guy told me Poles & Eastern Europeans are way more drunken than Irish.
Had a few months ago an Italian dude make fun of Irish accents & say Irish have little wee wees.
Before that sn Italian, Albanian. Puerto Rican& Jewish guy said Irish are arrogant A'- Holes, liars& whiners.
Had a Italian girl tell me Polish people are actually stupid.
Had last winter an Italian girl bar tender say Irish have little wee wees.
Been out of the country much? I do not mean to Europe or someplace like that. Middle East? South America? Nigeria? Egypt? People of all walks of life have it damn good in America compared to many other countries.

I live in Asia and Europe more than 50% of the time. I spend the balance of my time all over North America. I have spent significant amounts of time in South America and Australia. Your position is a waste of time. I don't care that non-white, non-straight people typically have an "easier" time in the US than in Saudi Arabia or Syria. I don't care that non-white, non-straight Americans typically have an "easier" time in the US than they did 50 years ago. "Better" or "easier" does not mean "good enough". American society has traveled miles and has light years more to travel.
So. It's everyday, really?
Deaf people are allowed to drive? Do the radio stations know that?![]()
Do they know if they are making noises in a car full of deaf people? Does a falling tree make a sound when deaf people are around?
My position is far from a waste of time. And you know that. If it was truly that bad here, you would not be living here. And American society does not have to provide anyone of any background in this country anything more than the next citizen.
Do the radio stations know if they are making noises in a car full of deaf people? Does a falling tree make a sound when deaf people are around?
I already said that I spend half (or more) of my time outside the country. I love the US with my whole heart, but many Americans are insufferable for more than a few months at a time. Minority rights advocates have never asked for "anything more". We simply want equal treatment under the law. We'll always be called niggers and spics and chinks and faggots and gashes. Most of us have adjusted just fine. We just don't want old, straight, white, Christian people to continue to lap up the milk and honey without letting any of it run down to the rest of us.
[/B]
Plenty of Old, (pick a minority), straight (not straight), Christian (pick any religion or none) people doing quite well in this country. And have been for a very long time. They have plenty of milk and honey too. There is more than ample opportunity and equal rights in this country for anyone wanting them. What part of Europe and Asia do you go to? If I may ask.
I'm not denying that the US is a great place. I'm saying it isn't good enough and anyone dedicated to progress is not going to deny that.
I was born in Korea and live there part-time. I've visited a lot of Asian countries, but my experience definitely leans toward Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam. I work in Sweden a lot and live there part-time. I also lived in Germany for three years and have visited all of the European countries.
Many organizations explain why Muslims, Jewish and Black people are evil too.
Completely different organizations hardly part of the Politically Correct crowd.
A fellow world traveler. I like that. Nice to know I am speaking to someone that has been outside the U.S. for something other than a vacation at some resort. I honestly feel most of the worlds prejudices would be non existent if everyone visited other countries and got to know the worlds peoples and cultures. All of my travel is maritime work related or when I served.
