I know he did, but there are people who don't understand this. That is why I have started a 2016 reminder thread to remember the election by. While it may sound ridiculous, there are many lefties that go off into left field and start talking about types of votes that are NOT relevant to winning an election. Many lefties are confused about what kind of votes are required in order to win an election, so they need to be reminded what kind of votes are the kind that win elections. Trump did in fact get significantly more of the kind of votes that win elections, he got enough to kick Hillary's ass. Poll numbers that suggested that Trump would lose to Hillary were as unimportant as popularity contest votes when it came to winning the election, and only one candidate was able to secure the majority of the winning kind of votes.
Does any of that describe a popular vote? A popular vote is what determines the winner in a Democracy. I recognize we do not have that, but Trump wion the dirt. Not the people.

If lefties have any plans to win in 2020, they will obviously need to impress both of these two people that you are referring to, and convince them enough to gain both of their votes.
