2020 Battle Begins: Trump holds the high ground

Pretty good analysis. Another anomaly I'd add to the OP is that there are voters out there similar to me. I don't like Trump, I consider him a horse's ass. He tweets and says stupid shit. But I will vote for him for several reasons.

1. We all know he lies but he also speaks the truth about topics others are unwilling to. E.g. his recent ABC interview with Steph and exploitation of hrc's baggage last campaign.
2. The Mueller witch hunt.
3. The Kav hearings.
4. Dim extremism.
a. Open borders
b. Anti first amendment
c. Green New Deal
d. Local level accommodation of lawlessness
e. Endless investigations as an agenda and policy

I could continue but no time.

I can see why you re a red. Your BS list is why he will lose, not win. Meueller witch hunt landed on a coven. 5 in jail and 25 more indicted. I am amazed someone is dishonest enough to call it a witch hunt. That says so much about you.
No Dem is for open borders. How can anyone make that claim? More dishonesty;
The Kav hearing is a positive for the Dems. He is a real jerk,
The Repubs investigated Hillary only about 12 times, starting when she was the first lady. that is endless. The Dems just started.
Typical red ,wrong and has no clue.

Over 55 percent of voters said they would not vote for Trump. And, at least 2 candidates have said they would run against him. The Republicunt party is ruthless and they will stomp on the reds who want to run.

Useless poll.

Wait until you’re given the choice of Coke or Pepsi and see which one the people pick. Theoretical circumstances do not yield hard data. If you were to ask 100 TV viewers if there should be more documentaries on TV, about 80 would say yes. About 8 would actually watch them.

As a liberal it’s frustrating that the current political vehicle (the Democrats) are so fucking stupid when it comes to nominating a Presidential candidate. It’s really pretty bizarre that that given the problems they had in 2008 with Clinton/Obama and 2016 with Clinton/Sanders; the hard feelings, the lack of momentum a primary winner has, and that, you know…THEY LOST IN 2016, one would think that the DEMS would wise up and stop allocating their delegates using proportional representation. It’s maniacal and confusing. And this is even before you get into the whole Super Delegate fiasco at the Convention which is another ridiculous ball of wax although it is pretty sane by comparison to the fact that you can win a state and only walk away with a handful of delegates more than your opponent.

BTW: Those who think the national popular vote is a good idea, take a close look at the DNC for an example of how chaotic it can wind up being.

Anyway, one of these days the DEMS will either run out of bullets or toes. I would hope they would be smarter than this but then again, they are Democrats…it’s too much to hope for.
