Why the hell are those filibustered? Do people just filibuster everything automatically these days? I'm sure we could get a Republican to filibuster the "End Cancer and Feed Starving White Children for Free Act".
my guess is they have a couple hundred pork barrel amendments attached.....or more likely, it's just a list of things the Senate hasn't gotten around to doing and Pelosi thought it would make good press if she had big numbers to complain about.....here's some more urgent legislation....
