Dano, did you ever hear of 'Beat up a White Kid day' and 'May Day'? It was a big deal in Cleveland back in '93 as a result of the Rodney King beatings. We had it in Canton too. Once again, the things you are pointing out do nothing but create more hatred, even within yourself.

Did you say to him that pointing that out creates more hatred?

Here is what I said about Jena 6:

"As far as I'm concerned, neither race should be happy with the situation that broke down. 6 vs 1 beating is assault and battery... I don't know what else to say other than don't use violence, even you feel you are at your wits end. Which, I do think they felt that way, trying to get something done about the racism there. Those white racists down there probably deserve the beatings, but you think the rest of the white community down there actually see it that way? It will incite more racism and maybe even get some of the black kids lynched now. That being said, I could never defend 6 white kids beating a black kid, even if they were put on death row."

I agree with that, the last thing in the world I want when I bring this up is special favors, just equality in law and nothing more.
