What do you think about Ashland Inc Topper? The Street is pissed off at them cause they bought Hercules instead of paying out dividends. But they aint losing money hand over fist and I don't think their going to stay at $5/share range forever either. There historicaly in the $35 to $50/share range. Any thoughts?

Shoot. Try having $200,000 of your pension money given away to creditors when the company you worked for went bankrupt.

Who wants to retire anyways? You'll just end up waiting around to die or do something stupid with all the free time you have. Face it. Were men. If we have to much free time on our hands it's not good and we'll get into serious trouble. If you don't believe me just ask your wife.

I am thankful for what we have, I hope all continues to be well with you! It is scary, isn't it. We have watched our retirement shrink! Good thing we have five years before we consider it. More families will have to start living together. My three friends have promised each other that we will never be homeless if there is a way any of us can help each other!

It will bring people closer is my hope. Maybe our society will change from an all about me, to one where we truly care for each other. For a Christian nation we greatly lack in this area!

Amen, what a joke, it is just gambling to me, but my husband insists upon it!
I feel like Chapdog, we could have paid for our home many times over with the money we lost. Our home will be paid off in five years, but it still makes me angry!

Zactly. Wash dishes by having the dog lick them clean. Mow the entire lawn with a weed wacker and fix anything broken or leaking with lots and lots of duct tape. Fine examples of applied male genius.

I used to shrink my wifes sweaters too till she caught on that I had a hidden agenda (....did I just mix my metaphors there?). Sure did make her puppies stand up loud and proud. :)
