For those who grasp the significance of what is being celebrated on July 4th, it is one of the most important dates in all of human history. Time is literally divided into moments before that date and moments after that date. The reason it is so critically important and worth celebrating is that it is the moment at which Americans introduced the world to the overthrow of kings, tyrants, and arbitrary power...and to the birth of self-rule. It was the first time a group of individuals came together to formally recognize Natural Rights (the notion that our rights are God-given, and that we therefore do not require the permission or understanding of other humans to exercise them) as the basis of legitimate governance, and revolted against the existing order.
France responded by attempting to duplicate in Europe what we had accomplished here (although it took on more of a 'revenge against the rich' direction instead of demanding to be left alone like our Founders did), and eventually, almost the entire planet would come to adopt some kind of constitutional form of governance with democratic functions. The birth of this country fundamentally transformed the world in a way that broke the chains of tyranny that had literally existed since the beginning of time. THAT is what is being celebrated.
Democrats hate our country and reject every expression of patriotism by placing their response within the "yeah but" framework. The diversionary fallacy they almost always introduce to avoid having to admit such compelling and disarming greatness about the country they despise and try to betray and burn down at every turn is slavery. This is the ignorant child's tantrum against reality in which unreasonable Democrat morons pretend that our barely existing forces in 1776 should have found a way to achieve instant perfection on every ancient injustice at once, by simultaneously taking on the most powerful military on Earth, ending despotism, AND starting a divisive regional war against one another by picking a separate internal fight over slavery.
On its face, it is a completely unfeasible expectation that could only come from the most narrow-minded, dishonest, America-hating bigots and demagogues looking for any excuse to trash the country that literally saved humanity (more than once). The Founders knew that if we survived the British onslaught at all, it would be a straight-up military miracle of the ages, and could only be even theoretically achieved through total unity among the 13 states. So they compromised by putting off the slavery fight until later and by creating a system of government in which future generations could amend the Constitution to sort those fights out later, when it would not literally destroy the most important moment in all of human history.
So when you are grilling out and spending time with family this weekend, reserve a moment to sit back and ponder the Earth-shattering significance of this holiday, and to grasp just how treasonous the uninformed brainwashed lunatics are who are currently falling over each other to:
-help illegal immigrants invade and rape our country
-steal elections
-burn down cities
-issue death threats for donating to anyone but Democrats
-dox, assault, and terrorize anyone who expresses dissent
-declare secession
-burn our flag
-ban our Pledge
-disrespect our Anthem
-tear down our monuments
-lie to school children about our history
-violate their oaths
-shred every part of the Constitution
-oppose national defense
-aid all our enemies
-betray all our allies
There is the party of thinking adults that bothers lifting a finger to actually comprehend what our country is and stands for, and why it is the most important place in the world...
...and the party of ignorance, tyranny, and betrayal that constantly finds new and inventive ways to maniacally smear, dismantle, and destroy it.
