It is a celebration for all Americans, no matter what political leanings, we who have serve and family who have served under the flag deserve better then that

in 2019 he had personalized a national celebration in which previous presidents have played little or no role, and that he had turned the nation’s birthday into an event that was tantamount to a campaign rally.

Thankfully this year Alabama cut that crap off

Trump had to cancel a July 4 weekend rally at an Alabama military memorial park

They said the decision came after they learned that it would not simply be a patriotic Independence Day-themed event without strong political affiliation.
It came after local officials worried that the event could be hijacked for partisan political reasons.
