If your child doesn't get picked for the charter school, he/she is most certainly doomed. Really, it's the urban districts that are worst of all. In the North Seattle area there is a magic line called NW/N/NE 145th St. If you reside south of this line, your child is stuck in Seattle Public Schools, and is completely screwed. If you live north of the line, then your child will attend Shoreline Schools. Congradulations, the Shoreline School District is one of the finest in the State of Washington. And remember, Seattle isn't even the worst urban school setting to be stuck in - I can only imagine what LA and DC schools are like...

That's only true if your parents are morons. It's not the schools that are the problem. Stupid parents are the problem. What's your fix for that?
