There are about 350 immigration judges( who are currently overwhelmed with cases). ANother 350 would alleviate that problem.

Of course Trump WANTS the problem. He wants immigrants kept in jails so he lies about how many judges we have and how many are needed.

The pace of court filings has not increased - indeed, filings are running slightly behind that of last year at this time. Instead, what appears to be driving the burgeoning backlog is the lengthening time it now takes to schedule hearings and complete proceedings in the face of the court's over-crowded dockets.

While the Justice Department, including Attorney General Sessions and court administrators, have implemented a number of new policies with the announced aim of speeding case dispositions, their efforts thus far have not had the desired result.

This is funny; a news organization that lies daily about trump does fact checking. But the fact checking is merely hearsay and innuendo. I do wish they had cared about facts so much when Obama was President. But during Obamunism, they argued with you if you stated that Obama had told a lie about Obamacare.

There is only one thing to say to such childish, whiny garbage....STFU.

As the president pitched his inexecutable plan to turn migrants back at the border with no due process, he complained on three separate occasions this week that he'd been asked to sign a proposal to hire 5,000 new immigration judges to address the backlog of cases. The problem is he won't say to who made the proposal and no one, including his own press staff, is confirming the claim is true.
