It's still hard to coordinate such a stupid law with the reality of today in a mind that was never taught to think that way. As it is right now I'd have joined the boycott, I'd hope it would have been the same back then but there is no way to know. All that we are is the result of what we have thought, and that is usually a result of what we have been taught. Of course if that meant everything I'd be an uber-Christian who didn't celebrate Christmas due to the paganistic nature of the holiday...
