I made a fortune over the last few years following the actions of the Fed. Every time they hinted at more money printing I went long. Two weeks later I would go short. When the trend turns, I will go long again. But for now the market is headed down and my portfolio is headed up. I understand you don't have the skills or balls to be a trader. So you stick with you little buy and hold like the good prole you are. I will take my 167% annualized return

I like the S&P too. I like it when it goes up and I like it when it goes down. You apparently don't understand that it does both and that there is money to be made on both sides.

Since 2000 the market has been essentially flat and when you factor inflation into the equation, you have lost money since 2000.

Yes, due to quantitative easing by the federal reserve, the stock market has doubled since 2009. Now if you only started investing in 2009 you would be in good shape, if you have been in the market since 2000 you aren't as ahead as you think you are.

Don't get me wrong, I used to be a buy and hold adherent just like you. Unlike you, I learned my lesson. Is the game rigged against people like you and me? Fuck yeah. Does that mean it is insurmountable? Fuck no.

It is very simple if you learn how to read the charts. Set an entry and exit strategy and control emotions.

Another down day. And I am profiting wildly. BTW. I told you what I was doing as I was doing it. I am still short. I even told you key support which it blew through today. Probably heading for 1341. That is next key support level. If it slices through that, who knows?

December is traditionally a good month for stocks, so I will evaluate and see when a good time to go long is.

If you weren't such a stubborn pussy, you could be making money like me right now. I am up 5% since the big eared douchebag won. You keep on keepin on with that buy and hold.

I have a stop loss in at 1371

I am also selling half of my position when it falls to 1348 to lock in some profit
