A Congressman who (almost) makes Sean Hannity look reasonable.

I figure this should get everyone's partisan juices flowing. How is Keith Ellison in Congress? Yes, Hannity is a tremendous hack and it can be very difficult to listen to him but this dude is in Congress. If Ellison dislikes him that much why bother going on his show? What is in the water in Minnesota where they elect people like Bachmann and Ellison? (I will give them props for voting for Ventura though)

Their harsh tone is very unusual too. Minnesotans are infamous for their excruciatingly polite behavior. It's called "Minnesotta Nice".

Watched the video. Didn't have a problem with it. There wasn't a thing he said about Hannity that wasn't true and applicable. Which does bring up the question "Why do the interview in the first place?" unless, of course, he had an agenda to tell him off? Maybe he was being Minnesotta Nice and once Hannity went into his hackery he just lost it. I mean I can understand that. That's understandable. I can have a thin skin for stupid people like Hannity at times. For years I've never been able to understand the appeal such a low level mouth breather like Hannity has with conservatives. Rush Limbaugh I can understand but Sean Hannity's appeal has always been a mystery to me.

I guess I figure our elected officials will hold a modicum of decorum and professionalism. It's not like Ellison didn't know who Hannity was before he went on the show. And it's not like he "exposed" Hannity as some guy who pretends to be neutral but isn't. And after yelling at Hannity he turns around and is just a big of a hack on behalf of Obama that Hannity was against.

Did Ellison think he would score points with the hacks on the left with that behavior?

I don't really see where you can call him a hack for telling Hannity off. It wasn't like he was out there spewing the far lefts party line or working for a propaganda organ like Hannity. Granted his diatribe was in poor form but there wasn't anything he said that wasn't true, applicable and accurate. Nor do I think the comparison to Bachman is fair. I really don't know much about the congressman but I haven't heard him out there spewing hate rhetoric from the lunatic fringe like Bachman. I could be wrong but I'm unaware of him doing so.

As for scoring points with his constituency. I'd say he probably scored big time. It's about time someone had the balls to tell that condesending, snide punk off. LOL

"Everything Obama said was the truth in that video..." He's no different than any others in Congress who get in front of a microphone and claim their side is right and the other side is wrong but it doesn't mean he's not spewing partisan talking points.

What would be his M.O. for going on Hannity with the idea of telling him off?

He was trying to score points with the left wing hacks like Mott. Just look at Motts replies.

It it could be that Ellison is a muslime and muslimes are prone to fits of anger and violence

If the roles were reversed, the media would be a flutter about how unhinged a republican was. But since Ellison is black and a Muslime he has double secret affirmative action protections. If he were gay he would hit the political correctness trifecta

Honesty. Let me repeat. There wasn't a thing he said about Hannity that wasn't true and applicable and you keep failing to answer my question. What's wrong with saying that?
