Gun Control actually started back in the Old WILD West when towns and territories started hiring notorious and reputable gunslingers like Wild Bill Hickock, Bat Masterson, Doc Holiday, Wyatt Earp to uphold their Bans on carrying guns inside of City Limits.

Banning guns within city limits became a standard across the entire west, and there were a lot of unsung hero Sheriffs, Marshals, and Deputies who lost their own lives, or were crippled for life, trying to disarm drunks and other violators of their guns while trying to uphold the law and defend there jurisdictions.

Of course he did. Reagan was a big Cowboy star in Hollywood and was quite educated on the Old West, as he became the narrator on the Weekly TV series Death Valley Days where he would tell the stories of the Old West and how it was tamed by the lawmen.

Back in the real Death Valley days, it became illegal for minorities and Indians to even possess guns and their guns were taken away from them.

Strict gun laws work the same as abortion where they just go to another state. Illinois just happens to be surrounded by states unlike itself, Chicago being minutes from a border. Chicago has had a crime scene since the old days of mob bosses, etc.

During the heydays of the Old West, when the US was trying to steal the Indians land, round them up and force them onto reservations, THE MORE ILLEGAL GUN SELLERS WOULD BE SELLING THEIR REPEATER RIFLES TO THE INDIANS- WHICH WAS A CRIME PUNISHABLE BY DEATH!

The point is- illegal sales of guns in America has been going on since the Wild West.

Congress has tried to prevent them by passing Background Check laws. But, yet some Red states are so lax and uncooperative in enforcing these laws, they turn a blind eye to the illegal sale of guns sold without background checks at Gun Shows, and sales of guns sold from person to person who circumvent the background check law.

Most of the shootings in Chicago can be directly tied to an illegal gun sold illegally that was brought into the state illegally!

Laws do not prevent crime- They do deter crime!

But when RED STATES (MAY WE JUST CALL THEM REDNECK STATES SO THAT WE CAN BE MORE SPECIFIC HERE?) do not even enforce gun laws- and don't even bother to investigate illegal gun sales- all other states adjacent to them suffer the consequences of their refusal to enforce those Federal Laws.

Illinois is one such victim!

That is false. Gun deaths in states with strict gun control laws are lower than those states that have liberal gun laws. This is a fact. Almost all the guns in Chicago are coming from out of state. Tough national laws would eliminate that.

Yep, dozens of shootings every day in Chicago. To many of these Back teens living in the hood- sometimes, it becomes necessary to shoot back and defend yourself and your family.
