But really, if you try to overthrow the government, the feds are going to sick the military on you. I'm not against people owning guns for self-defense. But this idea that a bunch of civilians with guns could take on an actual government-funded army is insane.

Who's trying to overthrow the government? It's not the right screaming and crying because Trump was elected. It's not the right razing and looting private businesses. It's not the right who is vandalizing and tearing down monuments. It's not the right who is accusing everyone who disagrees with us as being racists.

My gun club consists of a lot of veterans. Most (maybe one or two may not) say they would shoot any of you leftists who would try to bring your violence and looting here. Our military would not back any of your leftist ideals, remember the outrage from them when that question was asked back in the 80's at Twentynine Palms?. I would not count on them to back your fascist ideals and hatred of America.
