No, I'm just pointing out that they mention more than one boy of Adam's. You know. In chapter 5 of Genesis we learn of the sons and daughters of Adam.

Cain and Abel were the first two named, then Seth is the last named.

Genesis 5:4 states that he had "many more sons and daughters"... Cain and Abel were born before Seth, and their descendants would later marry Cain even though he was marked...

The exact quote (NIV) is: After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.

That is one long life. After the flood lifespans were shortened and a limit of 120 years was placed. (I don't know what the believers will do when people start to regularly live longer than 120 years.)

And yes, if Adam and Eve were actually the only two created their sons and daughters would have had to marry.

Actually, the bible talks about other people living at the same time as Adam & eve. When Cain leaves he goes and lives in the land of Nod and takes a wife there.

This is why I have always laughed at the insistence that Adam & Eve were the ancestors of us all, because there were "other people" living at that time.

I'm fascinated by the discovery .. but I'm withholding judgement on it's importance until more evidence is disgested.

There are many contradictions yet to be explained.
 
Equally fascinating watching people trying to twist and contort religion around science, evidence, and fact.

Religion is faith, not science, not fact, and there is no evidence to support God.

I suspect that humans continue to evolve, at some point religion will no longer be becessary.

My objections to harvesting babies have nothing to do with religion.

I wasn't talking about "harvesting babies" brother .. I was talking about unfounded theories about "intelligent design" and how the bible says the same thing that science does.

1. That big ass toe.

Ardi was obvioulsly a creature of the woods, not trees .. and it walked upright. Does this suggest that later human forms would take to the trees, like Lucy .. or does this suggest seperate evolution?

2. More human-like teeth not apparent in Lucy.

Environmental, dietary, or evolutionary?

3. Brain-positioning.

Ardi's brain was positioned more simular to modern-humans than Lucy who came along much later. Lots of places one could take this .. but what's the truth of it?

Does any of this determine sperate developments of hominids.

We know of seven different species of hominids, is there another?

Needs more study and scientific conclusions.
