A Health Care System Shouldn't be Structured for Wealth Creation.

So you say.

Healthcare is primarily a service industry.

The healthcare industry (also called the medical industry or health economy) is an aggregation and integration of sectors within the economic system that provides goods and services to treat patients with curative, preventive, rehabilitative, and palliative care.

It encompasses the creation and commercialization of products and services conducive to the preservation and restoration of well-being.

The contemporary healthcare sector comprises three fundamental facets, namely services, products, and finance.

It can be further subdivided into numerous sectors and categories and relies on interdisciplinary teams of highly skilled professionals and paraprofessionals to address the healthcare requirements of both individuals and communities

You oppose profits, don't you? Because you oppose capitalism, don't you? Because you subscribe to the Marxist labor theory of value, don't you?

Don't you?

So they say. There are many sites dedicated to ex pats and people who have lived abroad for extended periods. Healthcare, minus health insurance companies can be construed to a service industry if you want to work backward. Health insurance companies have no product. They do not supply healthcare but decide who can get it based on their rules. They decide by profit and loss. Every procedure doctors order that they reject increases profits. They are bleeding billions out of the system.

Do these lefties know about Obamacare?

Every single Democrat in Congress voted for it, as I recall.

If you intend to use force to threaten people, I'll shoot you if that will stop it.

Otherwise good luck with that.

Awww, sweetie. Is someone forcing you to do something you don't like? Did you try stamping your feet first? How about holding your breath? If those don't work I can see why you go directly to "shooting" people.

You’re a babbling nitwit, aren’t you?

Of course. It accomplished a lot. It provided a free physical every year for those on Medicare. It increased urban clinics providing healthcare on a sliding care according to income. It provided healthcare to 9 million people who had none. here are more. https://public3.pagefreezer.com/bro...ct-sheet-celebrating-affordable-care-act.html

Then shouldn't people be complaining to the Democrats who voted for it?

They had to pass it before they could see what was in it, right?

"Powerful".

~Elon Musk

This is the most powerful video you will watch today.

Or, if you're a Democrat, you either won't watch it, or you'll pretend you did and try to change the subject, right?
No, it is not. Given the huge American population, there will be people slipping through the cracks. As a Trumpy, you think incidents prove the case. Obama Care has given millions of people some medical coverage that they did not have before. How many lives were saved? One of the codicils in Obamacare was that the companies had to put 85 percent of the revenue into providing healthcare. Such an imposition on the healthcare execs. Our system is so stupid that we allow corporations who do not supply healthcare to decide who has access and to how much. Denying care makes their profits higher. So you battle them. Many seriously ill people have to muster the strength to combat health company's refusals. Phone calls, emails, department switching and letters take your strengths and sap your determination. Out system sucks. Obama tried to make it better and succeeded. It was up to congress to make it better. The Repubs suck up to the corporations, so it is moribund.
