A must read...

I did the vegan thing for a few years. It was actually the best I've ever felt, just health-wise. There are definitely loads of non-animal proteins you can get.

But I really missed burgers too much. I loves me a good burger....

Oh, me, too! I use to treat myself to a burger and a beer after chemo, it tasted so good then. I don't know why, but it did.

I totally get that most people feel that way. I am a weird case of a vegetarian who was pretty much born that way. I never made a political, ethical, or health decision. I just was grossed out by meat from a very early age. But that's unusual, and that's why I don't ever tell people they should give up meat.

BUT...there's nothing wrong with talking about all of the good, both environmentally, and for your health, that could come from cutting back on meat.

My nephew never liked the taste or texture.

If done properly, it would have been the best thing he could have done for the economy. Building out the energy infrastructure across the board. Oil, Nat Gas, Alt Energy. Ignoring the first two while trying to focus solely on the third is absurd. There is NO way alt energy is going to make a substantial impact in energy in the next 10 years. We have to have all three.

I would like to see more development in the solar cell industry and hopefully make them way more efficiant.
I live in AZ and if the cells were more efficiant, just think of all the energy that could be saved by using the cells to power homes.
