San Francisco to rename schools honoring ‘racist’ figures like Washington, Lincoln

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln are history in San Francisco.

The city voted to rename 44 schools honoring the trio and other “racist” historical figures, it was revealed Wednesday — drawing a raft of criticism over the latest dose of cancel culture.

In a controversial move, the city’s board of education voted 6-1 Monday to scrap the namesakes in light of anti-racism protests that swept the nation last year, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

while i do not agree with the overall premise, since all people are products of their current time and society, there is no doubt Washington and Jefferson owned slaves...you can't get much more racist than that....
