I'm truly curious about how much of tonight's events were Dementia Donnie chickening out and how much was simply him not being able to execute the orders he wanted to order? He already fired 12 top generals. How many more were willing to be fired rather than carrying out an illegal order?

Agree. What can you expect though from someone who cheered the death of a mentally ill homeless man on the NYC subway, and has repeatedly demanded that his killer be given a medal? Apparently it's not too big of a leap from a single human to an entire country.

A tough call faced by military leaders like under GW who had to go general-shopping to invade Iraq.

The debate each leader much have with themselves is to resign to avoid supporting a stupid war or to stay and try to mitigate the damage being done by greedy, stupid civilian leaders.
