A plethora of viral videos show SNAP / EBT Lib recipients threatening violence and / or theft, if their cards stop working.

I wonder if anyone here knows people who are absolutely depending on food stamps to feed their kids and themselves.

If you do, have you done anything to help as the shutdown causes them to reach desperation levels?

Churches here have increased food pantry stock, several of our local businesses have stepped up…here’s one such example (note the second paragraph):

Yes, there are always some who take advantage, but there are so many families who genuinely depend on this program to feed their children and keep food on the table.

Fat Man’s BBQ & Papa Rog’s Pizza have partnered with the Fat Man’s friend/classmate Rob & Michelle Lambert of Lamberts Law Firm, and together we’re working out the details.

Each family will receive a whole smoked chicken, corn, and potatoes. A full meal made with love and community support. ❤️

If the shutdown continues and families lose access to benefits, we’ll be ready to step into action the first week of November, doing what we can to serve and bless others.

Several of us have bought bills of groceries for those dependent on SNAP from month to month.

Our school has increased opportunity for third meals for our students.

IMO the shutdown isn’t politically profitable for either side. Be glad when it’s over.

Or, she infests a deep blue urban core in a red state. That's very common.

How do I know?

Because Democrats like to claim that "most" welfare recipients live in red states" without disclosing the fact that red states contain huge urban populations governed by Democrat, many of whose inhabitants are dependent on government aid.

This is "lying by omission".

Of course, where I live, they start doing that robbing stores shit, they're going to end up toe tagged in the morgue and they know it. They'll limit that crap to deep blue states were guns are heavily controlled, you have no right to self-defense, and stores will get charged with crimes for trying to stop the looting.

They likely infest deep blue cities where Democrats hobble law enforcement.

The result, if prolonged, will be more food deserts, which Democrats will try to blame on "racism". You know it, and I know it.

Most Americans on SNAP could live two months on body fat alone. The loss of weight would help them overall.

Then there are food banks, and churches.

Then there is food stored in their homes.

This is just like Ferguson and Minneapolis, an excuse to riot and loot.
