Represenative Schmitt posed the following question: "What is an American?" I'll slightly change that to What does it mean to be an American? What makes someone uniquely American?

I'm not at all surprised. We lived in Missouri for 55 years. It is one of the most racist places in this country.

For starters, your homework assignment: research "Jim Crow laws", "Civil Rights Laws", "red-lining", Rockefeller drug laws

On a personal note: The law which re-affirmed my right to an education anywhere in the USA that my parents could afford is only 4 years older than I am.
