A Republican Plant?

And one more little tiny point of view. I would not be surprised to find out that this guy is innocent and that the Republicans are not out to play tit for tat for the Abramoff ordeal they went through recently.

Fair enough, Immie. I apologize for taking it the wrong way. Nevertheless, there are two things worth pointing out. The first is that the Clintons are held to a ridiculous standard that does not apply to others simply because they are the Clintons.

On the Abramoff thing, again the comparison isn't even close. Abramoff gave contributions in return for favors from members of Congress. He bribed them. It wasn't that he was a contributor and a crook like Hsu. It was that his contributions and the favors he received in return were crimes themselves.

Having said that, from everything I've read Hsu is indeed a criminal.

I honestly have not read much about it. I really don't care. As far as I am concerned one must be corrupt to be in such high level positions. I realize that is a very cynical take on the world of politics and perhaps it has not always been that way, and maybe it is even undeserved, but I have come to believe that our leaders (regardless of which party they belong to) have sold us out.

I don't know if Hsu is a crook or not. It would not surprise me either way nor would it surprise me to find out the Clinton's knew he was crooked. I didn't post this article because I wanted to point fingers at the Clintons. I posted it because I didn't want it to go ignored that a Democrat fundraiser was in trouble. Politicians are crooks, and I consistently hear from people like Desh that insinuate that Democrats are on the level of gods morally if not omnipotently. It just felt good to post that article so that Desh would see it.

And about the "Republican Plant", well if that were the case it would not surprise me either. Politics is such a slimy business.

I do know, however, that Hsu is innocent until proven guilty and he should be treated in such a manner. For some reason, I doubt he will be treated as if he is by either side.

And one more thing Dung, there is absolutely no need to apologize. You called me out for something you understood I was saying. Nothing wrong with that.
